This set consists of 12 beautiful designs which have been taken from our 2023 calendar.
The felt artwork in this calendar was created at Larchfield Community Creative Studios by adults with learning and other disabilities.
Felting is the ancient tradition of locking together wool fibres using moisture and/or friction. The two felting techniques are called ‘wet felting’ and ‘needle felting’. In wet felting, hot soapy water and hand rubbing are used to fuse the wool together. In needle felting, triangular-shaped needles with notches push and intermingle the wool fibres together. Felting is a therapeutic activity that allows the people we support to express their creativity whilst using natural, sustainable materials. We hope that these images of our felted artwork bring you joy and make you smile throughout the year.

This shop is a platform for us to showcase our artisanal crafts , handmade gifts, award-winning, organic cheese and food products which have all been made by adults with learning and other disabilities.
We also offer a few carefully selected products from like-minded companies and individuals that share our ethos.
