Ruth is a new member of the Creative Studio, she has lived in Botton Village for 50 years and came out of retirement especially to join us.

Ruth has fantastic skills and patience enabling her to produce the most intricate sewing- possibly a legacy of the many years spent in our glass engraving workshop.

This Christmas card and all of our other Christmas cards have been printed in the Press in our Botton Village community.

Making artisan goods builds self-esteem and gives a tangible example of how people with learning disabilities can contribute to the wider community on an equal basis.
