Felt greeting card
Fairy house, felt-work by William at Botton Village Creative Studio.
Williams love of nature and wildlife is his inspiration for the designs he creates in the Creative Studio at Botton Village. He is growing in confidence with his felting techniques and likes to make pre-felt to cut out and needle felt onto backgrounds. This is a technique he really enjoys and has given him scope to create many different images.
In this picture, he wanted to add a fairy tale theme. The spotty fungi on his design can be found under the trees here at Botton Village in the Autumn. The botanical name for them is Fly Agaric, they make good fairy houses but must never be eaten!
