Meet Your Tutor – Sarah,
Your workshop will be led by Sarah, who works in our Creative Studio at Botton Village, where she shares her willow weaving skills with the people we support.
Sarah wove her very first basket around 30 years ago, using freshly cut willow while sitting on a riverbank as a friend fished nearby. She was instantly hooked and has been weaving ever since.
She loves working with sustainable, natural materials and is continually inspired by the beauty, strength, and versatility of willow. Sarah brings not only decades of experience but a warm, encouraging teaching style that makes this traditional craft accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
