Organic cheese
Our herd of Dairy Shorthorn cows including Willow, Minnie and Cherry Blossom work hard to produce the creamy milk at Old Botton Farm parlour, which is then brought to our Creamery, less than half a mile away. We leave the milk unpasteurised to give the cheese it’s unique taste of the varied grasses found in Botton Village fields. Hand-made at Botton Village Creamery with vegetarian rennet, where it is matured on wooden shelving, and lovingly turned and washed.
A tomme style cheese which is wash rind for a year and left to mature on the wooden shelves in our creamery. This seriously strong Tomme is a lovely earthy colour. A great cheese for cooking with a rich hazelnut leading into a citrus flavour.

We bought one of each of the cheese and they are all delicious. So much flavour and rich quality.
I love cheese and enjoyed both of these cheeses very much especially the garlic one.
Great cheese, shame about the plastic , came with a leaflet about how to care for your cheese wrapped in grease proof paper…it wasn’t .. it was in plastic.. would have preferred it in grease proof paper..
An excellent cooking cheese
Bought three cheeses and a jam; the order was sent out promptly. The cheese is reasonably priced but the delivery charge is higher than other commercial cheese suppliers, however I think it balances out as a good deal. Plastic sticky tape and a plastic bag around the jam, could have done without these but otherwise all recyclable packaging. It was securely and attractively packaged with a little note from Jane and Jackie, thanks to them. Have only tried this cheese so far. I didn't think it tasted as strong as some reviewers suggest but my partner thought it fairly strong. It has a mature, nutty taste that doesn't get lost in a sandwich with other stuff, nice as a change from cheddar. A well made cheese that I'm happy to recommend although I think next time I'll be trying the extra matured Tomme which wasn't available when I placed the order.
My cheeses arrived today beautifully packaged. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience delving into the wood shavings to find another package. This is cheese to knock your socks off and it’s fabulous- rich and strong. I love it. There are some very talented people making this cheese. I will come back for more, so don’t stop making it.
This great cheese not only tastes good but also keeps well.
