This beautiful birdhouse has been hand-woven by Katie at the Woodlands Studio in our Botton Village Community. The willow is all grown on-site, in the Community gardens. Willow is a sustainable wood to work with as when it is cut down it will continue to grow back.
Weaving is a therapeutic practice for a lot of the people we support and the Woodland Studio team has been busy creating lots of new products that we are excited to share with you in 2023.
These birdhouses are designed to hang in the garden. If birds don’t choose to nest you can simply fill the house with a mixture of bird seeds and lard/suet and the birds will love it!
Shapes and sizes will vary due to the nature of this hand made product.
