While similar workshops with professional photographers can cost between £350 and £550, this one-day session is offered at just £180, providing exceptional value.

What the Day Will Look Like

Morning – Studio Mastery:

• Begin with a studio photography session using natural daylight.
• The side windows at Joan of Arc Hall provide beautiful, directional light, ideal for portraiture.
• Danny will bring a white backdrop and stands, creating a clean, professional studio setup.
• You’ll take turns photographing each other while learning to shape and control light for striking, thoughtful portraits.

Afternoon – Outdoor Exploration:

• Move outdoors to explore landscape and on-location portrait photography.
• Apply the same principles from the studio in a dynamic, natural setting, experimenting with light in exciting ways.
• Danny will tailor the day to your interests, ensuring a practical, inspiring, and creatively rewarding experience.

📌 Cancellation Policy & Dietary Requirements

We understand that plans can change. To keep things fair and manageable for everyone, our policies are as follows:

Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 14 days before the workshop date are eligible for a full refund.

• For cancellations within 14 days of the workshop start, refunds are generally not available, as spaces are limited and preparation begins well in advance.

• If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another person, provided you notify us at least 7 days before the workshop.

• In the unlikely event that we must cancel the workshop (for example due to low enrolment, tutor illness, or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered either:
  • a full refund, or
  • the option to transfer your booking to another date.

• No refunds are given for no-shows or missed attendance.

Dietary Requirements & Lunch

• A light lunch and refreshments are included in your workshop ticket.
