Hand woven cushion

These stunning, hard-wearing cushions have been Handwoven by Emma, on looms at the Creative Studio in Botton Village.

Woven using earthy-coloured threads, interlaced with a subtle pale blue and a vibrant ochre whilst the backing of the cushion features neutral-coloured, soft cotton.

Weaving is a tradition that has been practised for many years at Botton Village. Using the loom has therapeutic benefits such as reducing anxiety, it also helps to improve people's gross and fine motor skills.

For many of the people we support, seeing the final piece and knowing that somebody is going to purchase it and love it, gives the individual a great sense of pride.
