JANET HINCHLIFFE McCUTCHEON
Jan works from her studio space at the old glass workshop in Botton Village.
Jewellery collections are handmade in silver, carved ebony, gold leaf, textile and Japanese paper.
Inspiration is drawn from linear repetition, folds and edges, extremes of scale and coastal places.
Her original jewellery designs are minimal, architectural, tactile, fashionable and fun.
Worn by people who are individual, forward-thinking, creative, fashionable and appreciate originality.
Jan's jewellery has been exhibited in prominent galleries and exhibitions across the UK, Europe, Japan, the USA, and China. Her work is also represented in private collections and at MIMA (Middlesbrough Institute of Modern Art) international jewellery collection.
Jan is a founder member of the Association for Contemporary Jewellery and has published several articles and reviews on UK and international jewellery exhibitions.
A brooch in silver, gold and lapis was commissioned by Northumbria University for presentation to the Duchess of Kent.
Ribbon Ring
Each ring is individually hand-made and unique.

Care instructions
The grosgrain ribbon is durable, colourfast and hand washable. Wear with care as one would with special garments. Should the ribbon get damaged, the ring may be returned and the ribbon replaced.
